"YOU ARE NOT HUNGRY.
YOU ARE JUST BORED.
DRINK A GLASS OF WATER, MY G"
Youngin (above) decided he wanted to be fia-model and turn our manu session into a photo shoot. I've got the spots all over my torso and arms right now. Not too self-conscious of them because they'll eventually go away (that's what the doctor said, the man could be lying), but it's still a bit of a checker when I'm wearing anything short sleeved. They call it pityriasis versicolor, and apparently, it's caused when your body makes too much of this one fungus that is supposed to protect your skin during summer. I'm cracking up because I've told people that:
- Someone threw acid on my skin, and now it's like this.
- Sunburn peeling in random places.
- Picked up a virus from Judges Bay.
Lucky for you, it isn't contagious. Just a little bit of a double take on the eyes. Again, not too fussed, but I'll try and wear a long sleeve just so I don't freak you out too much.
Honesty is the one thing you give yourself permission to do when you start a blog like this. It get's a bit tricky when you actually start writing because eventually you post it, and then you want people to read it. That's a bit weird. Still, I want this to be a space where I can throw around a bit of honesty. I don't get much of it these days, and I think that's the reason why I don't sleep much at night. Thoughts are constantly checking in. I read somewhere that in order to make sense of the world, you've got to accept the things you cannot control and let them go. I'm proud to say that that's exactly how I live my life - all except between the hours of 10 pm till morning. Things are different when your mind has time to explore. So if you've got a drink or something by you right now, let's take a few seconds to toast to what this blog could potentially be - the key to a good night's sleep and a window into the mind of your boy. Cheers.
